Johanna has worked at the Thünen Institute for Rural Studies, based in Germany, for over five years. Her responsibilities include the coordination of an inter-disciplinary joint project CC- LandStraD (interdependencies between climate change and land use in Germany; www.cc-landstrad.de): including organization of events, documentations and reporting, strategic finance management, project- internal communication and public relation, project publication.

Johanna has a PhD in Agricultural Science and an MSc in Agribusiness.
